Interested in purchasing a kitten but unsure about shipping?

Is it really safe for the kitten? How long does it take? We get these questions a lot! Many people are curious about the safety and process of shipping a kitten. There are two main options: courier or airline Cargo services. Here’s how we explain the shipping process to help buyers feel confident and comfortable bringing a kitten home:

Shipping a Kitten – Safe and Stress-Free

We know many people worry about shipping kittens. Don’t worry! We have many years of experience safely shipping kittens all over the world. Airlines take excellent care of animals — they are highly regulated and want every kitten to arrive happy and healthy. In fact, it’s often harder on us as breeders than on the kittens themselves.

Winter or summer — shipping is safe

Kittens travel in the heated luggage compartment of the aircraft, where temperatures are kept comfortable, just like for passengers. During cold or hot weather, airlines carefully monitor conditions to ensure safety. If needed, we adjust the shipping time to avoid extreme temperatures — sometimes sending earlier or later in the day.

How long does it take?

Shipping times vary depending on the destination, but all kittens are carefully monitored during the journey. We can also show the kitten via FaceTime before departure so you can see how comfortable and relaxed they are. With proper care and planning, your kitten will arrive safely, happy, healthy, and ready to start their new life with you.

Currently, we offer worldwide shipping. Most of the time, we prefer to use airlines like Lufthansa, KLM, Korean Air, and Aeroflot, as they have consistently provided us with reliable service. For international shipments, major airports are usually the best option.

For shipping cats, we use boxes that comply with IATA standards, which are approved for transporting animals by plane. (IATA is the international standard for transporting animals by car, train, plane, or ship.) Each metal door is equipped with a special lock-latch to prevent accidental opening. We always provide dry food and drinking water in the box for the kitten or cat during the flight. An absorbent pad and a soft mattress are placed inside to ensure a comfortable journey. Shipping kittens

We also use the services of couriers and shipping agents. Currently, we work with several providers, each offering their own specialized shipping options. Please note that some couriers charge for their services in US dollars or euros, so it’s important for the buyer to pay in the required currency.

Please note that we do not provide advice or information to third parties, and we only assist individuals who are genuinely interested in purchasing a kitten from our cattery. Recently, we’ve noticed cases where people posing as potential buyers try to gather information about our shipping methods, couriers, or agents for their own purposes, and then purchase a kitten or cat elsewhere. For the safety and comfort of the kittens, we only share courier contact information once a deposit has been made or the kitten/cat has been fully paid for. This is usually sufficient, as couriers contact our customers directly if coordination is needed—for example, to arrange a meeting point. Shipping is generally automated and does not require buyer involvement. We take every step to ensure that your kitten’s journey is safe, comfortable, and transparent, and we are always available to answer questions once you are officially a customer.
