Interested in purchasing kitten, but not too sure about having your kitten shipped?

Is it really safe for the kitten?

Won’t it be difficult for the kitten having to be all alone in a box for so long?

Won’t he/she be scared?  How long does it take?

We receive many inquiries on the process of shipping a kitten — individuals often wonder if it is safe and how it works.

There are two methods of shipping: courier shipping and shipping using the services of «Cargo» (airline).

This is how we explain the shipping process to individuals to help them feel more at ease with the process of getting a kitten:

Shipping a kitten — Is it really safe?

Shipping a kitten by itself to a new location always sounds cruel and heartless — but actually we think it is harder for us than for the kitten! If you stop and think about it, the airlines are not going to mistreat the kittens for fear of lawsuit and customer dissatisfaction — and to our many years of shipping experience, we know that all kittens are flying in good conditions.

What about shipping in the winter — isn’t it too cold?

Shipping at this time of year is absolutely safe and is not a problem. Just like a person going on vacation to meet his relatives for the holidays, kitten Shipping is very similar — and perhaps even a little easier. All kittens fly in the luggage compartment of the aircraft (which is heated), where the temperature is maintained at comfortable degrees — just like for passengers. The only thing that differs at this time of the year is that airlines can be strict regarding the minimum temperature in each place (which is good). We believe this is mainly for their responsibility and protection. In addition, in the summer — they will not send, if along the way it will be too hot. If so, we will just wait for the next best day to send or send earlier or later the same day to fight the hot / cold part of the day.

Currently we can shipping worldwide. Most of the time, we like to use Lufthansa (german airline), KLM (netherlands airline), Korean Air and Aeroflot (russian airline) because they have provided us with quality service. International airports are often the best choice.

For the shipping of cats, we use boxes that comply with the IATA standard and can be used to transport animals on an airplane. IATA is a standard for the international transport of animals by car, train, plane or ship. The metal door is equipped with a special lock-latch, which prevents accidental opening.

We also use the services of couriers and shipping agents. At the moment we are working with several couriers and shipping agents. Each courier has its own special shipping. Please note that some of our couriers charge for their services in dollars or euros, it is important for them that they receive this currency from the buyer.

Please note that we do not give advice or information to third parties, as recently there have been more frequent cases when people under the guise of a buyer find out information about our shipping, couriers or agents for their own selfish purposes, and then buy a kitten/cat in another cattery. We give contacts or contact the buyer with the courier when the deposit is already made or the kitten / cat is fully paid.
